DIY: POLKA DOT SCARF

After taking a much unexpected extended break for the holidays I'm back with a DIY perfect for keeping extra warm and stylish during these cold winter months. Is anyone beckoning for spring arrive? I sure am! But alas, winter will most likely stick around for several more weeks so we better just grin and bear it, right?

MATERIALS
-Circle Scarf (c/o Dharma Trading Co.)
-fabric paint
-3/8" dauber (c/o Deco Arts Inc.)

Step 1: Lay out the scarf with some sort of cardboard or sturdy material underneath it, so the paint doesn't bleed through. Next, dip the dauber into the paint and gently dab it onto the scarf, making sure to keep the dauber in a vertical position to ensure circle shapes.

Step 2: Continue this method to create a desired pattern. I made rows of dots alternating across to create an all over polka dot pattern. Allow the paint to dry and then it's ready to wear!

    1. hi angela! even though we reside in opposite hemispheres, i'm glad you can still find a good use for a scarf! it's actually really lightweight so it's perfect for those in between seasons.
